Step back in time to 1891 and join us at Congress Hall, America’s first seaside resort, for a weekend of dining, socializing, and mystery. When you arrive, you will be greeted by our host, Edward Knight, the owner of Congress Hall and a prominent Cape May businessman. He will introduce you to the distinguished guests of the celebration, including President Benjamin Harrison and First Lady Caroline Harrison, John Wannamaker, a local merchant, Alice Sanger, President Harrison’s secretary, and Princeton law professor Percy Longfellow. Throughout the weekend, Horace, our loyal butler, and Charlene, a fortune-hunting maid, will fuss over you and ensure that your experience is unforgettable. Meanwhile, Katherine Kerry, a society columnist for the Cape May Daily Wave, will be observing much more than just merriment and gaiety.
As the weekend progresses, a murder occurs, and it will be up to you and your fellow guests to gather clues, question suspects, and solve the mystery. Can you crack the case before the killer strikes again?
