THE WHALER'S COTTAGE

EST. c 1780 • SLEEPS UP TO 6

The Whaler's Cottage dates back to the late 1700s, making it one of the oldest homes on Cape Island. The settlers that came to Cape May for the Whaling industry in the 17th century built timber-framed houses, carefully crafted with a strength and fortitude that stands the test of time. With its exposed beams, winding staircase, fireplace from the 1700s and special kids' loft, the Whaler's Cottage will take you back to the frontier days of the Garden State.
