Since you've come for relaxation, our friendly staff will help you to set up complimentary use of loungers, umbrellas, and towels. For the ultimate experience in relaxation, rent one of our beach tents and learn first hand just how good a perfect day at the beach can feel. Whether a day with a good book or playing in the sand with the kids is your plan, we have everything you need to enjoy your day in the sun ( or shade if you prefer).

When you get thirsty, we'll bring you a bottle of ice-cold water. Order a tall iced lemonade or a refreshing fruit smoothie for the perfect summertime treat. Building sandcastles can always work up an appetite, so order from our delicious lunch menu, made fresh and delivered right to your beach chair. Since our beach tents have a reputation in relaxation, they are very popular and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Private beach tents are now available! Please reserve beach tents at the front desk or you can inquire about one online. Online requests does not guarantee a reservation unless you receive an email with the reservation information. At the beach entrance, all guests are required to purchase a beach tag.

Cape Resorts guests are encouraged to contact our Concierge Desk before arrival to reserve a beach tent.
Non-guests may inquire about any remaining availability in the morning of the desired reservation date.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made by 5:00 pm the day before reservation
No shows are charged for reservation
Cancellations for inclement weather (rain) must be made by 10:00 am on the day of the reservation

Beach rules

The beaches in front of our properties are public and are shared with our neighbors and friends. As a result, please take note of the following rules so that everyone may enjoy a wonderful day by the ocean.

Beach Tags

Beach tags are required for all persons 12 years of age and over on all city beaches from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

A Place in the Sun

Our attendants will set up your chairs, umbrellas and towels once most members of your party arrive on the beach and are ready to occupy their chairs. Attendants are not permitted to preset beach set-ups—so please don’t ask them to (however nicely you do it.) Beach attendants will arrange set-ups on a first-come, first-served basis, once guests are present. This applies to families, multiple families and groups. Please do not put the staff in an awkward situation. We hope that you trust us to try to accommodate your needs while respecting the public aspect of our beautiful beach.

Empty Nesters

Please notify our attendants if you intend to be away from your chairs for more than 15 minutes. They will happily collect your chairs and umbrellas and will reset them upon your return.

Refreshment

Alcohol is not permitted on the beaches of Cape May. We do, however, have a selection of sodas, fruity beverages and water. Alcohol is available at The Rusty Nail and Congress Hall’s pool bar. Alcohol may not be taken off the premises.

Tipping

There is no longer an automatic 18% service charge added to the pool and beach checks, so please don’t forget to recognize the hard work of our servers and attendants.
