With the new renovations to the Ebbitt Room, we loved the idea of closing off the restaurant for the entire reception. The back garden/porch area is beautiful, but we decided that hosting the ceremony on the staircase in front of the stained glass window was perfect. It created a feeling of being in a church with the gorgeous window, plus it was an intimate area where we would be surrounded by our family and friends.
