Will is a self-taught musician. His music is a sonic tapestry of blues, country, folk, Latin and world rhythms. His work is a reflection of the music his parents shared with him growing up and his many years of world travel and cultural experiences as a professional soldier for 20 years. After his military service, Will fused all of these experiences into his own sound. His musical influences are Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Taj Mahal, Bob Marley, Rueben Blades, Gustavo Santaolalla & Daniel Lanois. Will has shared the stage with World Music & blues legend, Taj Mahal, Latin Grammy and Oscar winner Jorge Drexler, Grammy winners Los Lobos and La Santa Cecilia. Will has also performed with MacArthur Grant Winner Corey Harris and the eclectic singer/songwriter, David Poe.
