Freshly caught fish—also known as “Pridwin-caught” fish—has been a cornerstone of the resort’s identity for as long as Glenn Petry can remember. “My brother, Gregg, was The Pridwin’s resident fisherman,” he recalls. “He’d catch fish to serve at our Wednesday BBQs. You just can’t get any fresher than that.” Pridwin Executive Chef Todd Ruiz takes great pride in this tradition, honoring the resort’s waterfront culture in every dish he serves. Now, Chef Todd is ready to bring a few friends to the island for a little healthy competition.
Escape to Shelter Island for a weekend of fresh air, fresh fish, and friendly rivalry as Executive Chef Todd Ruiz invites several culinary friends to showcase their skills. Will this competition bring an added burst of flavor? We think so. Ultimately, as the chefs vie for the title, it’s a win-win for you.
